HEDNESFORD - 50/50 Draw; Tombola; Bucket Collection; Guess the Crowd; Platinum Lounge auction

The 50/50 draw at the Hednesford match was won by John Doyle whose ticket number 16172 won him the £106 prize of which Paul donated £6 to the PRE Development Fund. Thanks to John and all fans who bought 50/50 tickets. The free MOT at West Heath Garage was won by Mark Saywood and the 24 hour car loan was donated back by the winner (whose name Dave failed to note down) to be used in a future draw.

The tombola raised £72.20. Thanks Linda, Sue and Wendy and to all who bought tickets.

The Ground Development bucket collection raised a further £92.20p. Thanks to John and Mickey for their efforts collecting and to all fans who contributed.

The Platinum Lounge 'Guess the Gate' was not run.

The Platinum Lounge seats offered by Martin Reynolds of West Heath Garage Ltd raised £125 at auction. Thanks to Martin and the auction winners Paul Sampson and Paul Dredge.

Platinum Lounge Auction Result; 50/50 Draw

The auction for seats in the Platinum Lounge tonight was won by Paul Sampson and his guest together with Paul Dredge and his sons.

Tonight's 50/50 Draw will have three winning numbers this evening. Two extra prizes had been donated by Martin Reynolds and West Heath Garage who are Match Sponsors for the game against Hednesford. So the prizes will be:-

1. The usual cash prize.

2. A free MOT at West Heath Garage.

3. 24 hours use of a new Citroen DS 3.

Thanks to Martin for providing the two extra prizes.

SWINDON - 50/50; Bucket Collection; Season Ticket Draw; Guess Gate

The 50/50 draw at the Swindon match was won by Steven Murphy whose ticket number 15476 won him a record £162 prize of which Paul donated £20 to the PRE Development Fund. Thanks to Mark and all fans who bought 50/50 tickets.

The season ticket draw was won by Kevin Mills with his wife's pink ticket strip numbered 61 - 65. Season tickets for next season are expected to be available soon, so Derek can expect one to be winging its way to him shortly. Dave understands that Kevin is the brother of regular coach user Derek Mills. The draw raised a fantastic £606. Thanks Linda, Sue and Wendy and to all who took part in this draw.

The Ground Development bucket collection raised a further £142.20p. Thanks to Graham, David and Steve for their efforts collecting and to all fans who contributed.

The Platinum Lounge 'Guess the Gate' is  was run by Stuart Bazen today whilst Garry Ward was manning a turnstile. The record prize of £84 was won by Alan McClelland with a guess of 1375. The crowd was 1372. Alan donated £25 back  giving a total of £109 to FaST. Perhaps Stuart should do the job permanently!

Garry spoke to Simon after game and he indicated a gate of £3,700 which they both felt was rather disappointing. This is an average of less than £3 per head.

On the gate Garry noticed a lot of families with young children attending and it may well be that more money was spent inside the ground on food/drinks than usual.

Give It a Go on April 17

While we are sure that almost everyone reading this already knows, it's worth reiterating the plans for Farnborough vs. Swindon Supermarine tomorrow (Saturday April 17)

Simon Hollis has announced this as "Give it a Go" day, a superb initiative to encourage as many local residents as possible who have not so far visited Cherrywood Road, to give it a go. You (though as steadfast supporters I am sure you would not wish to donate anything less than the current entry prices), and much more importantly any of your friends, acquaintances can come to Cherrywood Road, make a donation in on of the "Rob's Raise the Roof ride" buckets, hopefully watch a great game of football and even, if Nuneaton's result favours us, witness the announcement of Farnborough FC as League Champions! This will essentially be the biggest one-day bucket collection in the history of the club!!
Your donation will hopefully at least double the £4000 that Rob's ride has already raised from you, Boro's fantastic supporters. Simon will be ordering the materials for the roof and sides of the PRE stand as soon as the required money is raised - so let's try and make that Monday morning!
In addition to the 50/50 draw, which has already had its best season ever for turnover, we have another one-day-only initiative

WIN A 2010-2011 SEASON TICKET
A FaST member, who wishes to remain anonymous, has put this splendid prize, and we are a running a one day only raffle tomorrow, winner to be announced at the end of the game.
