FaST PROGRAMME NOTES – BashleyThe games are coming thick and fast in this early sunny (?) part of the season, and we’re already welcoming everyone to our sixth fixture of the season. Those of you who made the FaST ( even though it took six hours and the last few minutes were a little taxing!!) coach service to Truro and back will we’re sure have felt the journey worthwhile. Thanks to those who looked after everyone in the absence of Bob and Dave. I hope the slighter short trek to Clevedon, with its brilliant pier for those who are interested in such things, were also able to return hope in good spirits. Today we welcome our Boxing Day hosts, Bashley and hope you enjoy the match, whatever the result, and the great facilities within the ground. It’s worth reminding everyone that your £10 ticket this afternoon gives you access everywhere except the Platinum Lounge at the back of the main stand. BUY-A-BRICKThe first batch of engraved pavers has now arrived, and will be laid into the surface just inside the turnstiles as soon as the building work allows. However, please don’t think this is now the end – we will be able to add to the pavers’ “Walk of Fame” throughout the season, so please see the FaST table if you would like to have your name embedded in the Cherrywood Road stadium for many years to come. Costs are just £25 per paver, with a special gold paver at 335 each.We are currently working on ideas for one-off fund raisers, but meanwhile our two stalwarts – the 50/50 draw and the half-time bucket collection continue to bring wonderful generosity from you all. Including the debut of Peter Gough’s Platinum Club raffle raised £37.50, the total donations up to date and including the Leamington match amount to a magnificent £1269.70. This includes two donations from winners of the 50/50. Well done and very many thanks to everyone.Away Travel: Tiverton Town Saturday September 5 Coach leaves - 10:00 am FaST members £20; Non-members £22; Accompanied children under 16 £11.
