FaST Programme notes – Hemel Hempstead

May we, the Farnborough Supporters Trust Board – Graham Ellicott, Peter Gough, David Hughes, Hazel Manning, Rob Matheson, Linda Soltysiak, Malcolm Upward, Garry Ward and your chairman Dave Workman - first of all wish a very Happy New Year to everyone here today, and especially to our loyal FaST members. It is still hard to take in everything that has happened, on and off the field, since the arrival of Simon Hollis and his team and 2009 in particularly brought probably the most extraordinary improvement to a non-league club. Your support, both financial and practical, over the past year has kept us going and results are here for all to see. The stand has started, temporarily stopped and now sprung back to life, and donations to FaST over the last year have resulted in an extraordinary total of £23,000 raised specifically towards the PRE development. You will see results of the most recent work today and while there is still much to be done – notably the sides and roof and the facilities planned for the area underneath the seating – you can be proud of the fantastic contribution we have been able to make to Simon as a result of your efforts. Thank you all very much.

We are hoping to announce our next major new fund-raiser as soon as possible, which will take us through to the end of this season. This will not be dependent of the vagaries of the fixture list (we hope!) unlike the somewhat ill-fated....

FaST Race Night

Once again, due to rearranged fixtures, we find that our planned date of January 19 now clashes with the away match at Banbury. So it’s back to the drawing board once again and we are currently crossing everything that will cross to find a date in March. Our thanks again to all sponsors and contributors for your patience.

Today is your last day to place an order for the next phase of the Walk of Fame inside the turnstiles. If you want your name or that of a friend, your company, or any other (very) brief message, today is the day. The FaST table operatives have the forms which you can fill in on the spot. Yellow lettering costs £25 and gold is £35. Don’t worry though – the scheme will be continuing

Enjoy today’s game and COME ON YOU YELLOWWSSAA!!
